Vintage Women's Coat

Hi, All. As many of you know, women's clothing is not my strong suit. This coat has the NRB union label used from 1938-1964. It has pretty large shoulder pads. It is not pinned back in the photos. Any info anyone could provide would be very helpful. Thanks!

Lovely. It has a lot of the late 1930s elements to it, (38-39) with it being collar less and the silhouette too. But the trims are so simple, almost sparse, and made of self fabric if I am seeing it correctly, I might agree that it is USA war time made, into the 40s as others have said.
