Vintage Yves Saint Laurent Tuxedo Smoking Jacket Year?

Hello everyone,

I have this amazing Vintage YSL Rive Gauche Tuxedo jacket, 1980's? Does anyone have any ideas? It is wool and has satin lapel and trim. From the label I think 80's but could be 60's. Thank you! Sorry I thought I had added several pictures!

YSL did his 'Le Smoking' a few times during his career. I believe 1966? is the first time, but he did it again in the early 70s and mid 80s, that I know of. Not sure which incarnation this one is.

There's a "Le Smoking" currently on display at the National Gallery of Victoria's exhibition "Black in Fashion". That one is 1972 and is double breasted.

I like yours better but I'm thinking eighties. As others have said, he re-did it a few times. According to Wikipedia YSL first did it 1966 (as per Jonathan).
