Vintage Zipper Pull

I have a zipper pull on a 40's or 50's dress that looks like it reads "MURLEN." I can only make it out with a magnifying glass. The dress is navy blue unlined linen with ivory faille diamond-shaped inserts and rhinestones. The zipper is on the side. Is anyone familiar with this zipper pull? Thanks.

What a fun dress! Can't help out with zipper pull but just wanted to say I love the front inset! It looks 50s to me.

Love the dress! I found dresses online from the 40s to 60s using Murlen zippers but nothing on company history, sorry! Hopefully, someone else will come along with some info for you.
