Vtg dior blouse/shirt...what can you tell me?

I found a women’s Christian Dior Boutique silk blouse/shirt at an estate sale. I think it is very old and the material label is impossible to read. I am wondering what you could tell me about this item. I have attached pictures. It was from an elderly fashionista and an upscale home in FL. It would be so helpful to find out more. Our silk specialist dry cleaner says it is silk and the logos seem to be embroidered. It is a cream color.

Can you help?

Thank you so much!

Hi I don't think it is very old but it might have some age. On first impressions not earlier than 1980s and quite possibly later is more likely. When you say the logos are embroidered do you mean the label or on the front? If the latter can you show close ups of this?
The large label attached resembles some sample garment labels I have seen before, where the fabric content and care information is hand written on a form like printed label, rather than mass produced as it is when these are confirmed. It is odd that this label should be so marked when the garment is not. If you can play around with light and photographing it you may be able to reveal more of the information on it which may include things like the year, season, line, style no. etc. in addition to the above.
I can make out on the 4th? line Milano
5th line Dress?
6th line COMPOSITION
7th /?0% (unreadable percentage) of what looks like Viscose

It looks like it has been washed before to me, as the colour of the numbers on the label has bled a little.

thank you so much for your fast reply. I'm amazed you can read anything on the tag! There are several yellow stains on the garment so I would say it was worn and not cleaned after. The dry cleaner could not get them out. The embroidery is on the front, in the form of what looks like a logo. I am sending another picture of that. Also sending a picture of the back of the shirt.

Thanks for the close ups - the embroidered logo is formed of the letters for C Dior. I have some large blousey shirts with embroidered emblems on them that I thought dated from the 80s-90s, they are white embroidery on white fabric though.
I'm not surprised it wasn't washed - I'd be worried about the black dye from the embroidery running on something like that too.
Aside from trying to read more of the handwritten label (do you have a scanner? you can try scanning it in to get a high quality shot of it you can blow up on the computer) I would try to contact Dior and see if they will give you any more information about it.

No sorry I usually contact large companies through their customer services address given on the website, asking to be be forwarded to their archive personnel/department if they have one.
