Greetings! I recently purchased a Hermes Bolide bag at an estate sale and I'm hoping I could get a few opinions regarding if the bag is a replica. I believe it may be authentic but my main concern is that I can not locate a date stamp. I've been able to find plenty of information regarding the appropriate letters and symbols associated with production years but I'm hoping that someone might have additional information regarding placement or lack of one. I understand VFG members can not authenticate, so I was just hoping to get some general fashion savvy individuals to furnish a few helpful hints! ;) Thank you in advance!!

Hi and welcome.

As you have said, we don't authenticate here. That includes giving opinions about whether or not it's a replica, which is amounts to the same thing, more-or-less.

Please do ask if you have other questions.

Jess Ica if you can post clear, close ups of the printed label, zipper pull and any other details it will help us date it.

I'm still getting a fairly modern feel about this one but am not an Hermes expert.

I agree with Ruth in that authenticating is expressing an opinion about whether it is real or a replica and there are too many details that need to be determined that can not be shown in a few photos, you have to handle it in person. Hermes is a much copied brand, we'd hate to mislead you about your purchase.
