Wanted: 1950\'s- early 60\'s pink heels sz 10!
OK, I have a FAB pink taffeta late 50's- early 60's dress with pink marabou trim around the neckline that I'm going to wear to a vintage fair closer to Christmas.
The only problem is that I don't have any shoes to match with it and of course I will only wear vintage shoes with my fabulous gown dahlings...
SO, I am looking for a pair of vintage 1950's- early 1960's stiletto high heels (or babydolls) in pink in a US size 10 (UK 8).
My foot is a medium width but the inside measurements of a pair of original period stilettos that fit me (Lotus Career Girl brand) are: 11 1/2" long (these have pointy winkle picker toes though) and 3 1/8" (although they have stretched to 3 1/4" from me wearing them).
On another pair of shoes that I have from the same date with moderate pointed toes that also fit me, the inside length is 11" and width is 3 1/4".
For heel height, the taller the better! :D
Color, a light candy pink like these shoes would be nice. For material, anything really as my dress is plain candy pink taffeta!
With regards to price, I know that my size in vintage shoes tends to be costly so I do expect to pay more than you would for a pair of size 3's for them so if you have anything that you think would be ok, please let me know!
