WANTED 40\'s gold shoes

Hello everyone, I am looking for a pair of peep toe 40's shoes in gold.



I joined VFG today to see if anyone can help!

I'm based in the UK and am a size 38 or 39 EU sizing !
I am happy to trade with anyone overseas!

I do hope you can all come to my aid!

This will possibly be the first of many wanted posts!

I have these ones on my site:
Gold shoes.
The size is approximate though as no size was marked. My mother in law is a UK 5 though so I can always have her try them on to size them if you want to be sure.

What is your UK shoe size and are you narrow, medium or wide? Unfortunately, the wider the foot, the harder it is to find things to fit properly.

I think your shoes are wonderful but may be a little small for me.

I do have pairs of 40's shoes that fit me and here is a measurement

toe-heel on INNER sole measures 10"/26cm long
widest part of OUTER sole 3"/8cm

I should have posted this before really !

As for my UK size I can be a 5 or 5.5 depending on the shoes
And am an 8 or 8.5 US

One of my customers has a beautiful pair of shoes in your size, gold '40s peep toe sandals.

Sadly, she's unlikely to part with them but if she does I'll let you know (I operate as a kind of clothing exchange for her). At least you know they're out there, and your size is quite doable! I'm sure there are more, as it was a popular style.

Hi Katie,

I'll be adding a couple of pairs of metallic gold shoes in the next few days on the freudian slips website (link below), they are 50's rather than 40's but might be of interest. I haven't had a chance to measure them yet, but should have all the relevant info and pictures up on the site this week.
