Hello all - we are located in Victoria, Australia and have been having a lot of trouble sourcing vintage cottons - 40s, 50s mainly. If anyone has any they would like to offload we'd love to hear about them!

I love this community - it is a credit to you all to have created such a nurturing environment to keep vintage knowledge alive and well...

Do you know about a vintage fabric sale at Camberwell markets this Sunday? You can read about it here at my blog. The last time this lady had a sale, she had lots of great '50s cottons including barkcloths. Her sale has generated a lot of interest so if you are too (interested) you might like to contact her asap and see if you can get in before the sale and get first dibbs. Last time she sold most of them by 7am.

Also, I have a lot of vintage fabrics and hope to list them online at some point. If you're interested, let me know and I'll show you once I've got everything set up. I have about 30 boxes of vintage fabrics from the '20s-'70s and I love cotton prints.

Yes, I knew about the vintage fabric sale at the Camberwell Markets but unfortunately I can't make it on the day. I wish I could get there - and unfortunately the seller, Jen, isn't selling her stock earlier...

I love your store - I used to shuffle around the 50s dresses and touch the fabrics :)
