Was Yves St Laurent inspired by Marilyn? Help date/info his vintage shoes..

My mum has bought these shoes in a vintage store in Sweden about 20-25 years ago.
After seeing this photo of Marilyn (photo copyright the 'The films of Marilyn Monroe' facebook page)
I started to wonder if he patterned his on the pair Marilyn was wearing. I heard that he was inspired by military fashion of the 1940s and this photo of Marilyn was taken in 1948.
eg Wikipidia says 'Many of his collections were received rapturously by both his fans and the press, such as the fall 1965 collection, which introduced Le Smoking tailored tuxedo suit. Other collections raised great controversy, such as his spring 1971 collection, which was inspired by 1940s fashion.'
Please note the thin sole at the very bottom has been done recently.
Does anyone know the date, collection name? Thank you!

I may be wrong, but I don't think Yves Saint Laurent designed the shoes, I believe it more likely someone else designed them on behalf of the label. They were probably inspired by 1940's design but this style of shoe (spectators, or two tone shoes) has been around longer than that. I don't think they would have been inspired by Marilyn specifically.

Could you show a photo of the soles? specifically any markings they may have under the arch. I suspect they are 1970's shoes but there is a chance they are a later retro style.
