I have no idea what this is, except that its older than my experience will help me with!

<a href="http://www.elsewherevintage.com/lace%20coat.htm" target="_blank">Darn old & lovely lace coat</a>

Plus <a href="http://www.elsewherevintage.com/50bluebow.htm" target="_blank">this cute purse!</a>

And last, but not least-- two sets of
<a href="http://www.elsewherevintage.com/sequintrim.htm" target="_blank">very old sequin trim</a>

Kristine

PS-- and I found a cute <a href="http://www.elsewherevintage.com/jocopeland.htm" target="_blank">Jo Copeland hankie</a> last week

That Deco influenced fabric combined with the old Edwardian/Vicrtorian Lace is a pretty nifty combo.
It's not classic 20s - too much shoulder emphasis and the fastenings would be at the hip. I really don't think it's 1906 or earlier. So that leaves 1910 - 1919. It' s really a guess, but I am thinking later teens becuase of the print pattern .

And it's really lovely.

Oh, you got some neat stuff!

Can't help on the coat or trim but the purse is great. With everyone wearing bows on blouses and belts, this is sure to be a winner!

You might ask about the trim over at Ebays Textile board.

Yaaaay....just answered you on another post Kristine that
I was getting a late teens feel on the coat, and that Hollis
or Jonathan would be able to nail down the date for you...
I am learning!! :D

Trim I would say is from the same period, into the 20s

the handbag I don't have a clue on.

yay! Even in my ignorance, I was right about the general dating! Yay!

But.. in my ignorance... what is the coat's period called, if anything?

I just have NO idea where to start with this!

(and I LOVE the little purse!-- and I just discovered that it's Emilio Pucci for Jana! LOL! So I guess I'm bumping it's date up to 60's!)

Edwardian period

The purse is Pucci??? Whooeeee! I would say 60s too! I would also
say KA-CHING!

:D
