Wearing a women\'s jacket

I'm a rather small man I suppose and I found a vintage women's Burberry(s) Harrington style jacket that, according to the listed measurements, would probably fit me. I would buy it in a heart beat, but I'm thinking it would look awkward because the zipper flap and buttons are on the left side obviously denoting that it's a women's jacket. Am I over thinking this or is it a bad move? I really don't mind that it's a women's jacket but I feel that it may be a bad fashion move. Pic below:

Hey, if you dont mind...then what the hey! If you like it and would feel comfortable wearing it, I say go for it.

Probably most people wouldn't notice which side the zipper flap was on. The most important thing is how you would feel about wearing it.

You might want to check the measurements really well; ask about measurements across the back, sleeve length etc...Then check against one that fits you well.

My 2 cents anyway. ;)

Agree with Brenda - I think the measurement you need to pay the most attention to is the shoulders, as you will be much broader than a woman. If it's a raglan sleeve, that will work best (it looks like it is, from the photo above).

Thank you for the replies. I should really be less self conscious haha I also noticed the raglan sleeves. The seller measured from pit to cuff (I'm assuming b/c of the raglan) and so far everything seems ok based on the measurements of other pieces I have. I'm just hoping all is well when I put it on :embaressed:
