Finally got of my wedding photos off of the camera for you all to see!
I had TWO dresses to choose from and I left it to the morning of the wedding which one to wear as it depended on the weather. I had bought a lovely Emma Domb from Cheri and then I had the silk one I bought 7 years ago that was a bit big in the waist and hips for me. Unfortunately, it rained and snowed a bit on the day, so I decided to go with the silk one as the Emma Domb needed a big hoop and I didn't fancy wearing a big, wet limp dress!
To protect my silk one, I wore my 1940's wine velvet coat with it for the "something old" part of my outfit!
My stockings were seamed and my shoes were matching silk but were oh so narrow. At the end of the night, I was dancing in my stocking feet :D
We had a civil ceremony as we couldn't get married in a church as Gary was divorced already. After the ceremony, we went to the Victorian pub which was right next to the registry office and had lunch. I had chips and profiteroles! Very fattening but heck, it was my wedding day!!
In the evening we went to the Chinese buffet where there was Karaoke. It was a good day and I wish I could relive the day!!
Us just arriving at the registry office..
Jake and my nice Courtney..
The family from left to right..
Left: Dave, my SIL's boyfriend, Karen my SIL, Gary's dad, Courtney, Gary, me, Jake, Gary's mum and then my mumsey.
At the wedding itself, us signing the book. You weren't allowed to take photos during the ceremony so I don't have any on my camera, this is one someone snapped on their phone.
Us leaving and getting confetti thrown at us. The rain had stopped while we were inside and then started as soon as we got out!
Me and Gary
At the pub showing my Blue garter belt with a horsehoe on it!
Jake and the cake at the chinese buffet after..
Cutting the cake..
Jake with tinsel out of the wedding party poppers..
