Weird Gold Batwing Best & Co Jacket

Now you cant say its 80's beause the store closed in 1971. It has huge shoulders adn batwing sleves. The Gold mettalic fabric is to die for and the gold satin lining is great quality. The tag does not match the one in the resourse... The quality of the label and graphics is also better than I have seen from Best and Co.

The collar is pleated to stand up but I think its missing a clasp or something....I dont exactly know how this is worn and what to wear it with (a pair of high waisted black bolero pants and balerina flats?)

It looks really late 40s to me and could have been worn over a net evening dress, maybe black or gold, or some kind of bare shouldered evening dress.

That is really lovely, I was going to say 1950's but the shoulders have thrown me. It does look a great quality item. Its one of those items that would look good with trousers or a dress.
