Well Made Evening Coat

I am going back and forth on pin point a date. The long jacket is made very well with no exposed stitching. I am including various images of the way it is made. I would love second opinions on the date and possibly maker-seamstress? probably not with the small 12 on the lower/bottom side of the coat, inside of course correct? The fabric is heavy silky soft, I think a silk it is not synthetic in character. The buttons also add to the dating and I have included close up images.

From the double breasted front view of the coat, I am getting a 1960s feel for this piece. It looks like a silk twill from the photos.

Yes the double breasted was my question as it reads 60s but construction and buttons are throwing me... Thanks, I would appreciate any other things one might be noticing I don't see!

Yes! I forgot to upload it thanks so much! The length and curve of the collar are also adding to my questions on a set date..... I just put it at the top too so people could see the whole thing at once

It does look 60s to me. There is a good chance that it had a long matching sheath gown underneath it.

It's a very elegant coat, and would look lovely with a fitted dress.
