I really enjoyed that post Liza. I think perhaps our hero was cast based on past glories...he's certainly presentable here -

Mind you, the sex appeal would need to be rampant to survive that hair do.

It's funny you post this now Liza, I watched The Artist last night on the BBC (I didn't see it at the cinema, regrettably, though somehow I doubt the audience would have been silent...) having only watched one original 1920's silent movie previously which was unexpectedly brilliant (I forget the name, but it was about twin sisters who are seperated to earn a living and must rescue each other later) but it gave me something to compare too.
