Wetherall Reversible wool coat

This fun but no indicators of age! There's no obvious labels because of the revesability but is there any secret places I should be looking for hints?

Could be quite modern but the wool feels very good quality.

You know, I could've sworn I looked in the pockets when I bought it but hey presto! I found a label :D Probably I didn't check all 4/4 lol.

What's more, it one I've already seen on a high-waisted orange red paisley skirt I also own and think is 70's. I will post this too for comparison.

Btw when the label is the same on garments from two different decades - should this be written on the label resource page? I've often not know whether or not to submit but the label is there but from a different period.

After researching and writing a bio of the Wetherall brand for the label resource, the very last search I did turned up this 1962 advert of my coat in a different colourway!! Photographed by Norman Parkinson no less :drinking2:

Cool that you found an advert that is similar to yours. Styles were repeated and/or ripped off though and the Woolmark logo's first use was in 1964; so it cannot be earlier than that ;)

I know Deborah, I hardly ever find adverts for my items! but I do think it rules out 70's now, I can't imagine them still making exactly the same style 10 years later when they say "We don't follow fashion slavishly....We forecast and follow trends of style"

Barbara what length do you consider 3/4? these are 22" from shoulder seam.
Also, it has no size labels, it has a 44" chest, would this fit a US 12? (UK 16, EU 44)
