This 1920s dress has a few tears on the skirt area so I was hoping to have it mended but not before I confirm the material it’s made from. I suspect it’s rayon crepe but I could be wrong and it very well could be silk crepe or silk chiffon. If it’s silk, I would probably hold off on getting it repaired considering its fragility.
