What color does this look like to you?

Lavendar?

I don't think lilac....

Yup, its velvet and has two great sections.

Again, I need to buy me a big pack of crayolas. They have the yummiest of names! It does look like a light purple to me.
 
That's exactly what i was thinking.

I was going to buy a big ol pack and say...this looks closest to thos crayon in real life. So they know to trust the crayon, not the monitor sometimes!

Light Purple - purple is probably much more searched than grape, etc.
 
i would go for mauve too if that's any help, it was my immediate thought whne i saw it! i think it stands up as a colour in its own right. and i think 'dusky' is always a nice word to use.

(but maybe that's just me...)

hmmm...on my end it really seems more purple. But you know...i am going to look at it again with a fresh mind!

(and i will come back eith more pictures so you can see the inside...its really cool. WHen i see those funky frame curves I think 60s, but gold printed logo, etc, and other elements make me think it is older....40s...but i will narrow it down!
 
I would use either lilac or orchid....
There is a lavender rose that matches this perfectly but to call it lavender rose would bring visions of the color rose so using that would not make sense LOL

I quite like it! It would be great to add some pizzaz to jeans
