What decade is this mini dress from?

I was thinking possibly 60's because of the metal zipper in the center back but I don't know enough to say for sure. The material is stiff and sheer.

Interesting! I never thought of it like that, I just assumed it was a swimsuit cover up or something. What do you think the bottom would have looked like?

I can see wide legged or bell bottom matching pants. Where did you find it? Maybe you can go back and see if there's a matching piece!

I found it at Goodwill! I really hope it's there, usually at the stores I go to if there's a matching set they will put the two together
