Hi everyone,
I'm a lingerie maker and costume designer from france, wich is I think a great combo to start a retro lingerie collection. I would like to know if any of you would like to answer a few questions ? I already have a few design and patterns -even too much to start- so answer from vintage fahion addicts would help me a lot figuring out , well, where to start !
So here are my question :
- Which era do you prefer in lingerie ? ( not necessarily which era do you wear the most, but which one do you prefer because of the general style, fabrics, shape, details...)
- Which era do you wear the most ?
- What items do you find particularly hard to find, and why ? (because there are just no items on the market / because they are "retro-looking" but no "retro-retro" / because of poor quality / too expensive / etc...)
- Do you prefer items that are completely hisyorically accurate, or that look historically accurate but with a modern touch, like fabrics, cuts...
- Which are your favorite pieces of lingerie ?
- What are the things you pay more attention to when buying vintage lingerie ?
- And anything you'd like to add if you think it's important / useful
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions (and sorry for the possible grammar mistakes and bad use of words !)
