Here are a pair of boots which I promised to appear out of thin air and post some pics....

These boots are not knee high but come up mid calf. They are made by Basic Instinct .

The tag on the interior says "These goods have the best Italian style and material because of there factors we can guarantee it."

Note that this tag is sewn in and THERE has been spelled wrong as it should be THEIR.... Hee hee I caught the misprint...

I am thinking of going with Black Leather Funky Chunky Platform Boots????

I don't usually pick up this kind of outerwear but I like the idea of the zipper coming up the center of the boot rather than the side.

I don't see a size imprinted into the interior, there is just a sticker with 8 on it...

My question is I am not sure on the vintage here are they 80's????

Any thoughts or opinions are welcome!!!

I would guess that by the thick rubber soles with the thick treads that they could be possibly early 90s..maybe late 80s to 94ish. But someone might say differently ? This could (WOULD!) even appeal to the Goth market. That being said, these could do rather nicely. I remember when i was in my boots phase that there were all types of soles like this. I had some platforms from that time period myself but nothing like this. Mention the BIG ZIPPER!
 
Wow - those kick butt! As soon as I saw them, I flashed Sid & Nancy in my head. They totally say "UK PUNK" to me. I really, really love 'em. I think they would totally appear to some punk rock chick whose sick of shopping at Hot Topics with the masses.
 
Tmeline wise, they would be post punk - very contemporary to grunge even though they aren't exactly that look either.

AND on top of it it, it would definitely appeal to the unique person who wears pretty unassuming low key clothing but loves these boots and they appreciate their uniqueness.

AND do not forget the extremely short people who want to be taller!
 
I wanna be taller please Chris but that doesn't mean I would put myself in these boots or my stilettos!!!!:hysterical::hysterical:

I'd rather someone just lay me down and stretch me like melted taffy!!!!

Pulling only on the toes and hair pleaz!
