What in the World is this Funky Fur?

I hope that you're all staying warm. I have a funky looking fur that is truly stumping me. I would love some input because I am just at a loss.

I'm sorry to say but I don't know what this fur is is stumping me too. That collar does look like fox but those strips are dyed in a strange way so it's preventing me from being certain.
I would really have to see and touch this in person to 100% identify it. I wish I could help you more.

Caryn, that's a first! I've never seen you stumped before. Do you think it could be coyote that's been dyed? It looks so coyote-ish, except for the color.

Nope. Definitely not coyote. If I saw that collar alone I would say fox for sure. In fact can you possibly show me side photo of this coat fancythatvtg?
