I have this fabulous Yves Saint Laurent Trench that I could only dream of wearing. The detailing is out of this world! What era is is it from? Thank you.

Thank you for saying so, Nicole. It really is a fabulous coat. I do have more pictures. Hope this helps..Lovely coat - do you have photos of the labels, please? As many labels as you can find - also, do you have a photo of the coat as the collar would be worn, ie, sitting down and flat - like number 24 but with both sides of the collar down.
Thank you.
Unfortunately, this is the only label and it's located in the center back neck area. Thank you for you effortsExcellent! That's what we need
Any more labels? There should be fabric and care labels. Also, can you please tell me the location of the YSL label.
Thank you for your input. Yes, I did check inside every pocket, but no luck. I did find the belt though. That was pretty exciting! It looks 70s to me. Have you checked inside the pocket, sometimes labels can be hiding there as well.
"Sharp" is an excellent word to describe this coat! Thanks!Very sharp coat! I'd say early 70s with those huge lapels and the pocket flaps.
Thank you for your input. It appears to have been altered perhaps. There is a white dry cleaning/repair tag hanging from the left arm. Can't really read the writing but I assume she couldn't wear it (or didn't want to wear it) after the alterations. But, I've looked everywhere for an additional label. I can't find one.I tend to see that faux stitched-leather style buckle on 70's coats, is it plastic? and like Nicole I would expect there to be a fabric content label with a garment of that period. They can be very small and often folded into a seam somewhere.
I must say that label doesn't quite sit right with me, the ends are folded over very little for a label of that size and are quite frayed, which suggests it's been loose and then sewn back on.
