what is the name of this pleat effect...its on the tip of my tongue and l cant get it?? for my latest etsy listing.

well sort of yes...but l'm sure someone posted a name for this permanant pleating some time back perhaps 18 months or more..l can always add it later if l come across it.. thanks anyway
 
I would go for fortuny style, or is Plisse (sorry can't work out how to make an accent!) what you're thinking of?

I am fine thank you! Life just very hectic.. but am hopefully back on track now :D
 
This is more like Marii or mushroom pleating which Mary McFadden used; however, it doesn't have as much "depth." Hers, even though polyester, had more texture in the pleats.

You could honestly describe it as Fortuny like and polyester. Claire
 
thanks claire and hatty....yes it was plisse l was thinking of, (or not in my case) as l thought l might get into trouble if l said Fortuny! havent heard of Marii claire!! l'm curious about that now....but will add these thanks alot..you two!!
