What is the name of this print?

Hi, thanks for respondiing, I know its a novelty print LOL, but I wanted to know what the little characters are called or what they represent.

Several of the little figures are clearly marionettes, some look like puppets, and perhaps some other theatrical-type figures like mimes. Though I can't quite get a good look at some of them. The only word I can make out is "museum" and I think I see "pupp" as well--which fits in with some figures being puppets.

Here's an old thread on one of the eBay boards about this same print: http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...int&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=firefox-a

(you have to copy the entire link in to your browser to see the page above)

There are several marionette museums in Europe. Perhaps DVF may have been influenced by one she visited? Or perhaps one of them commissioned her to do a print for them to make apparel they could sell in their shop? Just guessing...
