What is this bodice treatment called?

    Pretty cotton Gigi Young dress that I would like to
    VTA on Sunday...the top of the bodice has a separate
    panel that sticks out slightly from the under part of the
    bodice.

    You can see abit in the side view at the top how
    the panel is away from the dress abit.

    I don't think there's an official name for it, but I might call it a bodice panel....paneled bodice...thinking.....

    Is that sewn into princess seams?

    Linda, I think a shelf bodice is under the boobs.
