I have this vintage bright orange dress that looks very mid/60s to me, and almost homemade - but it has both a lot/size tag as well as a dry clean only tag. No brand label. Any ideas what this is or when it’s from?

There's no way of finding the designer/manufacturer, but I would say it is most likely from the early to mid 1970s. Lot/size tags are pre 1979. Care labels were not mandated until 1971. The style is more early to mid 1970s though, esp with that front yoke.

I agree with 70s, rather than 60s... and if it weren't for that LOT number tag, I would have thought possibly even later.
If I remember my childhood correctly, LOL, a 60s dress would be more likely to have a metal zipper, as well.

Lol! It does have a metal zipper in the center back and that’s part of why I thought it looked 60s-ish.

The zipper pull looks to be metal, but are the zipper teeth metal?
This is an example of a metal zipper... both the pull and the teeth are metal (in this case they are painted yellow).
Regardless, I still agree with 70s for your groovy dress!
