I have a designer peignoir set- Pedro Rodriguez. Based on the store label, I know it was prior to 1969 because that it when the store dropped the Old English font. My question is, do you think the original price was $14 or $1,400? Store ads I found online for that period suggest that a $14 price tag would be ridiculous for such a set- but is $1,400 even possible even for couture at the time? This set is comparable in quality of construction like Lucie Ann gowns.

$14.00 - about $100.00 in today’s currency - and then it was reduced to half price $7.00.
