We've been getting some inquiries as to just 'what is this'? Well, here goes!

~~VTA mePage on eBay~~~

VTA stands for Vintage Themed Auctions ~ Some creative vintage clothing dealers here on eBay got together and decided it might be fun to run a special group of themed auctions. We started with Valentine's Day in 2002 with only a handful of sellers, and have continued to grow! Our members are part of the eBay Vintage Clothing sellers community and we welcome new participants daily!

Since its inception, the VTA has gone through many changes and revisions to adhere to eBays' policies. It has been a bumpy ride!. On eBay, the VTA sellers are incouraged to put VTA in the title, and include a small link to a VTA eBay search.

With the launch of VFG and then VCMall, we've carried over the concept of VTA to include both eBay and VCMall. I've lifted a post from another thread:

For those of you not familiar with "VTA: Vintage Themed Auctions;" it is a group marketing effort first begun on ebay, and now extended to the vc-mall /babylon mall. All participating sellers present items for sale that fit the particular month's "theme" and people can browse very easily by searching for "VTA" in titles or clicking the "VTA" button in the mall.

So if auctions are more your style, check ebay, and if if buying right away is your style, check the mall.

If you are a seller that would like to participate, email Gayle and she will put you in the know with the specific requirements.

So, as you can see, there are numerous ways to participate in VTA. As a seller or a buyer, you'll always find something!
