What kind of \"dancers\" on this skirt?

Here I am again.....

Could someone please help with these dancers on this skirt? The girls look Mexican but the men look western........Any ideas????

with the plaid shirt on the guy i keep thinking square dancing but the ladies clothing really doesn't mesh with that.

That's what I was thinking...and I am getting more and more confused. Maybe I should just use "dancers" in the title and description.....

Lizzie..that's an idea too. it has more of that arm hooking and that is the wrong term, more often than in square dancing..
the one with the green skirt looks like they are what..."swinging your partner" and the other two look to be standing acrossed from eachother which happens in that dance too.

but its so hard to really know what it is
