What kind of fur is this?

I am a little confused with this 1940s fur jacket.
Could it be beaver fur? It has those extra large shoulder pads.

The fur is quite long and the pelts quite wide.

I had thought perhaps fox but it really isn't as fluffy or as soft as fox would be.

That's really pretty and it is Beaver fur. I am not normally a fan of Beaver fur but I really like yours because of the style.
