What kind of fur is this?

Hi there,
The fur is mink and it looks like the color tourmaline which is a cream color with beige undertones.
That fur label authority label was first used in 1952 and was used to ascertain that fur garments were made under fair labor standards and complied with the fur products labeling act.
Fur traders sometimes created and used fictitious names which sometimes mislead consumers who thought they were buying one fur type when they were really buying another. The fur products labeling act prevented them from being able to do so.
Davidson's would have been the furrier who crafted and sold the fur to the original wearer.
