Is this necklace made of resin, plastic, lucite? Can you tell from the pictures? Thank you!

I can't tell from the photos, but it doesn't look translucent enough for lucite. It looks very opaque, and most of the lucite I've ever had allows some light through. Is it heavy and clunky, or lightweight? Have you tested for bakelite? Does it "thunk" or "ting" when you click it together or against your teeth?

I'm not an expert on vintage plastics, so hopefully somebody who is will come by and take a look!

It looks like it could be a copal or amber, or as Anne has mentioned, a lucite or resin to simulate the former. The first two tend to provide a static cling if rubbed briskly against a sweater or other fabric, but not foolproof. If you rub a bead hard again your thumb, and detect a 'woodsy' or pine pitch type odor, then it will likely rule out plastic.
