What the \"Wrangler Man\" wore...

...in the early 70s.

The stack of magazines just fell off the table, so I will have to look again whether this was '71 or '74 and willl have to peruse later...but for your entertainment...

I wonder if that was standard uniform for helicopter pilots... :) hee hee. They are quite the dudes. What manner of trouserness is the dude sitting on the helicopter wearing? I know I have seen it...just on "in action" i suppose. (but i do like his buddy's shoes. I would wear the ladies version of those!)

The two guys on the left are a bit more typical to what the average guy was wearing obviously. I can't say that i remember of have seen family photos with my uncles, etc, wearing anything like the guys on the right.

Oh my that pink outfit!!!

That reminds me of a shirt I saw at Target the other day that said "Real men wear pink"......

I have a few Wrangler items on my website, I do like this article alot. Can you tell me what mag you found that in?

Actually, it wasn't an article. It was just an ad.

My husband almost spit out his coffee when i showed him these guys. He remembers the fashions then, but they look much different in retrospect :)

I think those guys looked heaps better then the awful streetwear look. I see men walking around wearing baggy shorts and trousers with drawstring waists with large panches ugh!!!!!!!!

I have to agree with Louise...These guys may look like Village People regects, but they are clean and I can't see their under-britches!!
