Here is a kool item....

Its a Regency purse but you have to be crafty to put it all together! It is a patent of 1968 and when all done with the crying it is an Irish Linen bermuda style accessory...

Where do I put this under "Crafts"????? I know it is a crafty thing but it is also a vintage purse so where am I going???

Hi Nanc!

You could double list in vintage purses AND crafts.

I have come across these kinds of bags already made up in thrifts, I always thought they were badly made knockoffs of (can't remember the first name) Collins bags. Now I realize they were most likely made from these kits. Ya learn something new every day!

I just got a completed kit purse in an auction a couple of weeks ago...still in original box, but the work had been done. Actually, these are pretty nice bags...Irish linen and real mahogany wood (sides and/or bottom). I like mine with the froggy and turtle be-gemmed and be-jeweled.

Oh...$12.99 plus shipping.

Be sure to add peacock to the title! I agree double list.

Pretty nice! Does look like an Enid Collins.

Wow, I hadn't noticed the peacock before. "Peacock" is always a great kw. I just love those bejeweled Enid's and Enid wannabe's. They are so over the top.

Oooh, I like this. I have one similar at my shop. It has the initial "M" on the front.
