What type of fur is this?

Hello VFG. Your answers and questions have been an invaluable resource to me! I love your site and you all are wonderful. Can you tell what type of fur my collar is? I'm guessing coyote or fox? The coat is a lovely late 60s, or early 70s paisley tapestry. I'd love opinions on the date, also! Thank you so much!

What gorgeous coats! I love that brocade!
I agree with Melanie...it definitely looks like 60s Fox Fur to me :-)

Thank you, Nicole! I did come upon some amazing 50s through 70s coats. I have a few more questions on a GWG jean jacket and another stumper (to me!). Hopefully, I'll get these postings figured out!

Very pretty. It is indeed fox fur, specifically Norwegian Blue Fox Fur which is white with brownish black tips, and the union label inside dates it between 63-74 although more specifically as it has already been shared it does look 60s to me also.

Thank you so much, Caryn! I love and appreciate all your responses. I did say to hubby, I didn't want to put it in the booth until the fur lady chimed in. Lol. I'm so new to posting pics,(and asking questions online!) that I'm so happy you all could help me from my pics! Thank you so very much!
