In November, The Queens of Vintage ran this fabulous blog article for the Vintage Fashion Guild: Have a Very Merry Very Vintage Holiday

featuring ideas for wearing, gifting and decorating in vintage style ~ in conjunction with that, the VFG would love to see what vintage you'll be wearing this holiday season!

As a horn player, I always have a number of Christmas concerts to perform. When I photographed this 50s flocked taffeta skirt a few days ago I was thinking of selling it, but instead I fell in love with it, and decided I would wear it for my Christmas concerts! Now I just need to find a cropped jacket in a jewel color or gold...

@Maggie ~ that skirt is DREAMY!!

Let's see. I've worn the brown Davidow suit already this season, and the black applique cardigan. I'm sure they will come out again. No photo, but I also plan on wearing a 1960s Leslie Fay LBD.

Great things everbody! Maggie, I'd have kept that skirt too, it's perfect! I have no idea yet. My cousin is pregnant and due a few days before Christmas, so nobody knows what we'll do with the extended family and when and who will be around or not... And to celebrate with my parents, I just go for comfy. Usually I work on the 24th til noon and then head for home (worst time to get on a train...), so I'm just glad to be home and be able to relax. And this year anyway, as I'm producing my first brochure, and the date that it will be approved and sent to the printers on Dec. 28th - I think the (working) days up to that date will be busy enough... As for our company Christmas party, I won't dress up too much, as nobody really does, it's a pretty casual affair.

This is a recent pic of me in my current favourite dress (I'm also wearing it in my user pic, which was taken on the same day). The glamourpuss on the left is Candice DeVille.

Well, our family Christmas today was a bit shorter and more casual than usual, due to my cousin and her husband having a new baby (born on the 12th, just a few minutes before midnight!), but I did wear the pretty brooch today that I bought from Maggie earlier this month :):

For our office Christmas I went for my black velveteen Pucci skirt, plus a black top with a big vintage Lisner flower brooch (the skirt has a flower pattern, so it fits). No pictures, sorry - I'm still at my parents'.
