Hi Sandi,

I had one of those in the early '70s - I used to make my mum mad because I'd wear with nothing (but my knickers) underneath. I think it should have had a petticoat. No idea if it would have been starched. What is it made of? I think mine was wool.

I've had a few, and were worn with coordinating/made to match/dyed half slips. Some were part of a 2 pc set w/ a full slip.
