not sure what to call this dress , chinese , japanese? & I dont understand the construction its like a plastic ' y material has anyone ever seen this before? I hope I didnt post too many pics is there a limit? sorry if I did

i would suggest Oriental rather than Japanese or Chinese

looks like a lined quiana knit, maybe?

The motifs in the print are Chinese. The collar and fastenings are a Chinese style as well. If you're planning on selling it though, it wouldn't hurt to use Oriental in your listing that way more people would find it.
