I want to sell this dress, but don't know how to price it? Can you help.

Here are details:

Here are various views of a 20s dress I have. It's very delicate as it is golden beige lace with gold metallic trim, with a silk underslip which has gold metallic double boarder plus a plain lining under that.

It's in good condition considering it's old and the fabric is delicate. The little circles forming the lace are shiny/metallic

The ribbon around the hips is frayed on the end.

There is a some tearing in the lace near the top as well as some tearing in the corresponding underslip and lining.

One layer of gold boarder in the underslip about 6 inches long is pulled loose from the underslip.

Hi Gloria,
your dress is lovely. I couldn't get your website to open for me, so couldn't see the other pics.
This is not an era I have dealt with often. Have you done some research on eBay re: typical closing prices for non-beaded 20s party dresses? When you do, keep in mind that size and wearability are important variables in eventual closing price.

Maggie:

Did you try using Internet Explorer when attempting to view the website.

I find that Firefox doesn't always display images.

Your link to your site wouldn't work for me either, I had tried too and I do use internet explorer.

It's a very pretty dress, I can't really see the damage in this photo but with damages on such a delicate piece I would say perhaps around $100.00 - $150.00...again it really depends on the damage.

Whoops, my fault. I sent you to the wrong website.

Hi:

I sent you to my gloraisweb.com website to view the other images of my 20s. However, I wasn't able to upload the files. Don't know why, so I put it on my other website.

Go here if you want to see the 20s dress in more detail.

You can view it with any browser as far as I know.

That is beautiful. I've been looking for a 20s dress for sometime now. I'm not sure on the price though. If you put it on ebay please let us know!!!
Thanks!

If those are the only flaws and the lace is not terribly dry to the touch as I know how this lace can be absolutely brittle when it is too dried out, I would still think you could set a reserve of about $100.00 - $150.00. If it is very dry though I would not feel comfortable about that price range as it could disintegrate very easily.

If you are putting it on auction and have good photos, it will command a certain price depending on who is looking at that particular time.

Got a link that works! You can now see details.

Thank you everyone. It is not dry as Mary Jane mentioned and I do have it on ebay now. Listing it as Vintage Lace Dress 20s

Again you can view details by clicking here.
