What would you call this? Date and Description Help, Please

I'm thinking 60s or 70s... but I'm really not sure. There are no tags, no sizes, no contents.....


I believe it is a babydoll but I don't know what to call the sides...

Any suggestions??

I would call this "Babydoll with open sides" or something similar. Are the ties on the sides adjustable?

It's a nylon nightgown, babydoll with matching knickers. Probably '60s.

Angela - Thank you! Yup, the sides are adjustable and there is elastic under the bust. Stretches from 30" to over 44".

However, Victoria Secret and other lingerie companies describe their products as one word...

Taking into consideration that the dictionary has babydoll as two words and lingerie companies have it as one word, which one is right?

Vicki, use both, if you decide to list it. Both spellings are acceptable, I believe, and as they are both in use, be safe by including each.
