What would you call this style of hat

Wondering what this type of hat would be called....structured beret? modified pill box?

It would be worn like pillbox, and though it's probably not technically correct, the shape most resembles a sailor hat.

It is a modified Breton brim. Probably meant to sit towards the back of the head, but it looks better to modern eyes to show it worn forward. Related to the sailor hat.
