What would you call this?

Hello All!
I have this wool garment. It is like a pullover shirt but do you call this something else. The label is either 40's/50's? The company is Sportswear. Could this be some kind of hunting apparel? It has 2 metal loop buttons. Any help appreciated a LOT:wub:

I'd say it could certainly be hunting-gear INSPIRED -- maybe fashionable gals wanted to hunt, too!
I'm leaning towards 50's on this -- mostly because in my head I'm seeing it worn with black or jean capris.

Maybe go with something like "Vintage 50's Hunting Inspired Wool Plaid Pullover Top/Blouse" and maybe a S, M or L, as appropriate.

Not sure if that's too many characters, though!

Can't you just see this on Lucy -- she tries to prove to Ricky that she can do whatever HE can do by going hunting -- picture her wearing this and cuffed capris, a hunting cap, and carrying a shotgun with which she almost shoots Ricky... and chaos ensues! :bouncy:
 
Janice, i agree completely with Kristine, but "lumberjack" is a hot KW right now, even tho i can see Lucy wearing it more than a lumber jack, it might help get attention?

I would love that for teaching! We do motorcycle classes rain or shine, snow or cold - cancel only for ice on the range. I would be sooooo cute and WARM in that - not to mention the high visibility!

How about a heads up when listed?
