What\'s your daily dose of vintage?

I've always accessorized with vintage pieces, but I find the more I learn and the better I become at finding better vintage items, the more I incorporate it into my daily wardrobe.

I have friends who enjoy vintage but choose not to wear it~ I don't really get that.

What say you all?

I tend to accessorize with vintage as well. As a young woman I wore 30's and 40's dresses 90 percent of the time. I am at the age now where I would look like an eccentric old lady dressing the way I once did ... but when I "dress up" there is always vintage jewelry, etc.

I wear vintage every day in the shop - when I'm not in the shop I dress for whatever it is I'm doing.

A lot of what I do is quite physical: washing clothes, mending, sorting stock and lugging it around, so for that I dress mostly for comfort and practicality. I don't want to ruin my nice frocks!

If I'm not working, eg, socialising, then I tend to wear a mixture of the two: often a 50s petticoat, some nice old jewellery like a marcasite brooch, a vintage jacket or jumper, mixed with a modern skirt or dress.

the only gear l have at present is cocktail and evening wear..so l mostly on a a daily basis, carry a vintage silk scarf of my bag to add a splash of colour to grey days....and l take a vintie bag whenever l can...or my big raffia shopper c50's...
