When do you list coats?

I have lots and lots of coats...some are raincoats, most are wool, alpaca, and one mink-trimmed one that I don't know what it is (and one KILLER reversible 40s coat with the buttons missing from the one side). When should I start listing them? I have one or two really nice ones listed on my Specialist Auctions site, but they are just sitting there...any advice?

Probally not yet. I have coats too.... Probally Jackets in August then coats September.

Take a clue from your local department stores...be ready w/listings the instant coats hit there. Note that the 'preseason' coat sales have already begun at Macy's etc.

Ugh - I can't stand the thought of winter coats right now with this humidity! Plus, the thought of winter makes me very cranky.

That being said, I find that late summer/early fall is good for listing coats.

Thanks, everybody. I have a medical disorder that traps me indoors on really hot days (unless I want to fall flat on my face within a block of my building) so the heat, humidity is getting to me, as is CABIN FEVER!

I've sold two $100+ winter coats on Ebay in the last few weeks. Being in Wyoming I find a lot of winter wear and I always do ok with it in July/august..I sell the most coats during that time. Sounds weird but there are people looking even this time of the year.
