When is this A Regel 1/20 12K brooch from?

Any idea when this brooch might be from? Some of the bright pink rhinestones are replacements. Thanks. Liza

Very pretty -- it looks very 40's/50's. Since it's a goldfill and alloy combo (rather than with sterling), I would venture to say 50's. Maybe a search for some old A. Regel jewelry ads could shed more light on when they were in business.

I've done about all the searching I can stand ; ). Very tough, as the engines always want to change it to "Regal." Comps abound, but none with definitive info on dates. The marks sites (where they have all the marks, the way VFG has labels), only show the identical mark, but give no info about the date. Can't get TESS to cooperate, either. So will just have to go by what you experts see with your keen dating eyes ; ).

I tried to find out something about A. Regel, too. and got the same results. No dates on RCJ - not in Rainwater or Dolan. I agree with Laura that it's 40's-'50s. I would probably put C. 1940's which gives you ten years on either side. I see very late '40's styling - kind of "atomic" brooch in style.

It looks like the same piece to me - C. late 1940s would be my guess. Any maker's mark on the back?
