when was Tetralon used? dating tie..

I have this tie which gives the material as 'Tetralon' on the label (if I can read it correctly) now I know this is just a fab sounding name for the combination of acetate and polyester but I can't find any reference to it.

Failing that - can it be dated from the pattern or colours used?

Looks like Setralon. Judging by the width of the tie, it's mid-70s.

Yes, its 70s. I just love the geometric pattern and the pink color. I can remember men wearing a lot of mint greens and yellows in the 70s, but pink? Not so much. Great tie!
