Thank you so much for your help! This dress is stunning...I only need to do some minor mending in a few spots and replace some of the ribbon and the dress is almost perfect! Its super wearable still and I think it would make a beautiful wedding dress!

That is so beautiful! I think it might be a bit later in the 'Teens...1914-1915. I am picturing it with a petticoat under it to give the skirt more fullness. The waistline and the tiers of lace just remind me more of the mid Teen's, not the early. Does the skirt appear to have room for more fullness? Or is it more columnar (is that a word?)?

Whatever the dating, it is so pretty and so feminine! I agree it would make a fabulous wedding dress.

The skirt is 5 layers...the three tiers, then two more long layers. The layer closest to the body is very tubular / fitted and connects right to the waistband with no gathering...Haha I hope I explained this ok...there is no room for a petticoat underneath...probably just another thin semi fitted cotton layer so you can't see through the skirt but that's it. I think the skirt is meant to be only as full as what you see in the picture :-)
