Who are the people on this beaded 50s belt?

Hi, I have a few questions about this belt.

This was in the 50s box that I bought. I looked up beaded belts and saw some similar but none that were fully beaded. Is the dating correct?
Also who are the little people and are they dancing? The one guy looks like he is wearing balloon type pants?

Looks like a girl in a full skirt dancing with a man in pants. Very cute theme.

The dancers have a decidedly Western look, i.e. Western Swing, or square dancing, is my impression.

I think those are flowering cactus plants in pots in between each pair of dancers.

Thanks ladies. This is a fun belt. I think Joules may be right. It looks like they are square dancing to me. I also agree that Maggie about the flowering plants but I think they might be roses because there are red beads on the end.

Fun, fun beaded belt. Now, I am thinking of a title.

They do look like they are dancing, the plants look like cacti, and the girl does look like she is holding a maraca.
