Now that you mention it, the mattress photo looks possibly like a man to me. The body is almost entirely covered up, the legs are covered, the body is very thin and masculine. The cleavage (or lack of it) is covered with lace, and the adams apple is covered by the arms. A woman would not pose like that for a glamor shot, she would show more skin or pose to show some curves. the face also is not very pretty (sorry whoever you are). I do think the 2 photo might be the same person, not sure though. In the second photo the choice of that billowing peasant style blouse (with pearls??) looks odd, and the blouse looks as if it is being held up to the person for the photo.

Something about these photos reminds me of Jack Lemmon in Some Like It Hot. I don't think its him though.

These are really bugging me. I don't think it's a man - you can find plenty of photos of Lizabeth Scott (though this isn't her) looking pretty masculine. Suzanne, where did they come from? Any clues there?
PS I showed them to my mum who seems to have every copy of Picturegoer she ever bought committed to memory... and she didn't recognise her. Which makes me think maybe she didn't make it past test shots.

I could get "into" the -it's a man- theory. The lace/velvet ribbon top is odd and is covering up way too much. What is being covered up?

Hi,
I showed these to my boyfriend who is a pretty educated film historian and knows some very obscure people. I said nothing...and his reaction was it was Christine Jorgensen! I looked up some pix and this does not look like her/him. Still.....

The more I look at these, the more I'm leaning toward the man theory. It's the shape of the upper arms, the short eyelashes, straight brows, thick neck and swear I'm seeing hair on the lower arms. Agree they're the same person. Perhaps fetish photos or maybe Gayle's onto something with Jack Lemmon and the subject was trying for a role like Lemmon's in Some Like It Hot.

I am still thinking its possibly a test shot for Some Like It Hot- but that it may be Tony Curtis. But I could be completely wrong of course!

It is definitely not Jack Lemon or Tony Curtis. That movie is one of my faves and I watch it a good 2 to 3 times a month, LOL.

Who is the singer. I know I have seen her in 40s movies.
And a better ( I hope) shot of the previous person. She has a pock mark scar over her right eyebrow.

That is exciting! The seller told me it was Cybil Shepard!!! It makes more sense to be older and Marlene.
